An art lover and enthusiast, Eleni grew up in a small multicultural neighborhood of Athens. She studied Archaeology and History of Art (BSC) in the Athens University where she continued her studies in History of Modern Art (MA) as a scholar of the State Scholarships Foundation. She worked in various positions of the Cultural field and as a manager in retail industry but at some point she realized that she wanted to take action and be focused in her own ideas and she turned to the social entrepreneurship field. After she attended seminars and courses on Cultural Heritage Management, she decided to found LES ÉCARTÉS, aspiring to develop initiatives that will facilitate the social inclusion of vulnerable groups.
Christos is the inspirer of our name and the reasonable mind that takes care after all of the Organization’s internal processes. He graduated the Business Administration Department of Piraeus University and he is a Chartered & Certified Accountant from UK (ACCA). He is highly experienced in the fields of Audit & Assurance and the Financial Management as he is working in a corporate environment for over 13 years. He is highly interested in music, in martial arts and in history of civilization which he likes to explore through travels. What he always wanted was to offer his skills to serve a good purpose for this, and now he decided that it was a good time to bring together LES ÉCARTÉS.
Christina Pantelatou is an art curator/cultural manager based in Athens, Greece. She received her Bachelor in Political Science and History at Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences, and a Master's Degree in Cultural Management at Panteion University in Athens. Since 2014, she has collaborated with various cultural institutions and museums with a focus on Contemporary Art, and in 2016 she started working as an Independent Curator. Her field of research focuses on the socio-political aspect of Art. She believes that this kind of Art raises crucial issues of humanity, while it has the ability to challenge the established perceptions of the world around us.
Effie was born in 1990 in Aghia Paraskevi, Athens. She studied Marketing & Communication in Athens University of Economics and Business where she had the opportunity to participate in Erasmus Programme and become an exchange student in ETEA University, Cordoba, Andalusia. Later, she completed her master's degree on "Cultural Management" in Panteion Univetsity and since then she has collaborated with independent exhibitions and projects, festivals and cultural institutions combining her marketing expertise with her interest in curating. She is a contemporary art aficionado as she regards it an intense experience for the viewer, as well as, a medium for social change and critical thinking.
Myrto is a professional photographer and at the same time she is actively involved with Research and Volunteering. She studied Economic and Regional Development at Panteion University (BSC) and then decided to delve into her personal interests by studying Art History (MA) at the University of Athens. In 2021 she commenced her PHD research on the Post Mortem Photography at the University of West Attica. She believes that diversity can and should be expressed in all forms of cultural expression and for this reason she decided to become an active member of LES ÉCARTÉS.
Natasa is a Counselling Psychologist based in Athens, Greece. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Crete and an M.A. in Counselling Psychology from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA). As a mental health consultant, she has collaborated with various institutions and mental health centres (Eleonas Refugee Camp in Athens, Day Centre "Franco Basaglia" of EPAPSY, "Mazi Gia to paidi"), and recently she started private practice in her own counselling office in Athens. Regarding her volunteer work, she has provided individual counselling sessions to parents and minors from socially vulnerable groups.
Nicole was born in Athens, Greece. She studied Political Sciences at the Social Policy Department of Panteion University where she was mostly focused on the field of Gender Studies. After graduation she turned her attention to gender equality issues, types of sexuality and social marginalization. She is also actively involved in theatrical studies and performances. In her spare time she enjoys watching movies, reading books, listening to the Greek urban popular music called ‘’rebetiko’’ and also taking to the city centre of Athens for biking. Nicole's aim is to contribute to an inclusive and completely subversive artistic expression that opposes social exclusion and social norms that will eventually lead to the spiritual formation of a multicultural society based on equality.
